Policy Position Statements
YWCAs can take action in support of the national platform or agenda of YWCA USA. YWCAs can also develop and take action on local policy agendas or priorities based on their particular associations and community’s needs.
At the YWCA West Central Michigan, we envision a community that embraces diversity, creates a safe and empowering environment for all women and children and celebrates peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people. Every legislative session our agency adopts policy positions and statements that align with this goal and mission.
