GAZELLE GIRL 2020
April 19, 2020
Downtown Grand Rapids
The Gazelle Girl 5K/10K/Half Marathon is our community’s premier all women race – and for us at the YWCA, it’s one of our favorite days of the year. We have been a proud charity partner since the race’s start back in 2013. Over the first seven years of the race, more than $200,000 has been raised for charity partners like the YWCA. These funds go to critical community services, like our programming to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Register and learn more about the race at the Gazelle Girl website.
TEAM YWCA CHARITY RUN TEAM
Whether you’re running the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon, that is an accomplishment worth celebrating. And it turns out, when you do something like that, your family and friends want to join the celebration – often by supporting a cause that’s important to you!
Join Team YWCA and invite your network to support your race, and you will raise awareness and resources to address the issues of domestic abuse and sexual assault. You will make a statement: I Support Survivors.
Join the team and set up their own personal fundraising page.
Raise $100 and receive a YWCA dri-fit performance t-shirt.
Raise $250 and receive a YWCA water bottle.
Raise $500 and receive a YWCA quarter-zip pullover.
Raise $1,000 and attend a carb-loading, inspiration-boosting pasta party with YWCA West Central Michigan CEO Charisse Mitchell before the race.
All runners will be offered complimentary gear check at the YWCA tent at the start/finish line.
Fundraising must be completed by March 27, 2020 to ensure items are available by the race.
